Weeks after her best friend went missing 16-year-old Abby has to come to terms with the fact that Kristen is dead. While visiting the cemetery, which she often used to do with Kristen, she meets mysterious, sexy Caspian and they quickly fall for each other.
I loved this book as a teenager and I'm so happy to see that at age 25 I still do. Sure, sometimes I wanted to yell at the protagonist, but teenage brains do work differently and I think that's reflected quite realistically and without just completely denying her any rational thinking.
Some might say that the middle part is rather streched out and doesn't have much of a plot, but working through grief and on top of that struggling with all the emotions that come with falling in love for the first time - that takes time!
