A solid romance novel with relatable characters. I absolutely loved Emma and Cooper’s story, so I was worried that Charlotte and Henry’s wouldn't live up to my prior experience. But they did.

I really wanted to like this one but it was just MEH. It was predictable from the beginning. There was really no suspense leading up to who she’d end up with. Also once she finally did get together with the guy it actually felt like out of left field. Many parts felt clunky and disjointed. I think it needed better editing. The story idea was good but it just didn’t come together well. And lots of things were just left unfinished at the end but not in a suspenseful way but almost as if characters in the book were just forgotten about.

If you're looking for a Hallmark movie in book form, this is the book for you.  Sweetness rolls off the pages as the main character leaves the big city to return to her small town life.  I loved the lightheartedness of the story, but it also was intriguing enough to keep me reading.  This was cozy rom-com to the max!

I throughly enjoyed reading about the Small town of Hope Lake and Charlotte & Henry's story.
Author Nina Bocci vividly brings us into this world that comes to life off the pages as you read it.
I enjoyed the adventures of getting to know more about these characters and their second chance love they find within one another.
Best friends can be more and this book delivered it.
Great read to cozy up with a good hot cup of cocoa and a warm blanket while reading this book.
This book gave me the feels of falling in love with a good dose of humor.

I thought this book was really cute! It’s the second book in a set of three books, but the nice thing is that you don’t necessarily need to read to read the first to enjoy this one. The story follows Charlotte Bishop as she returns to Hope Lake after being gone for most of her life. She spent most of her childhood years in in Hope Lake, but then her mom took her and moved to New York. Now that she’s back, Charlotte is starting to remember all the good things about the town and can’t understand why her mom ever made her leave. Reunited with friends Emma, Cooper, Nick, and Henry, for the first time in a long time, Charlotte remembers what it’s like to feel really and truly loved. Now, the question is whether to stay and or go when a realization comes to light that makes Charlotte question what home really means and makes her really consider who it is that makes her feel at home. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a cute adult romance.

Synopsis: Meet Me on Love Lane is the second book in Nina Bocci‰ЫЄs Hopeless Romantics series, but don‰ЫЄt let that stop you from reading it as a standalone. Forced to leave Hope Lake with her mother, 10-year-old Charlotte heads for New York City with her mother, blocking off Hope Lake forever.

Now a grown woman, Charlotte finds herself fired and broke, blacklisted by her former boss, and in need of a plan. Out of options, Charlotte heads back to Hope Lake to stay with her father while she saves up enough money to move back to New York. Her visit is only supposed to be temporary, but then Charlotte is given the opportunity of a lifetime, her dream job with no strings attached. She also finds herself to be the center of attention between two handsome men, the charming small-town doctor and the handsome high school English teacher.

What‰ЫЄs Charlotte supposed to do when she finds herself torn between two cities and two men?

Review: I absolutely adored this book. It‰ЫЄs so delightful and sweet. It‰ЫЄs straight out of a Hallmark movie and gives you all the feels. I loved the small-town vibe that Hope Lake provided, it was like a tiny version of Stars Hollow, with its charming stores, magical town square, and friendly neighbors. Meet Me on Love Lane is such a feel-good story centered around childhood friendships and second chances.

‰ЫПMy tears plopped onto his shoulder, and I felt a wall, brick by brick, form around my heart. Protecting it from the hurt that I was feeling. This wasn‰ЫЄt a pain I ever wanted to feel again. I wouldn‰ЫЄt allow it.‰Ыќ
