Okay, it was good. Ozma and Peete’s story was a must that we needed. I liked the way it was structured and despite being one of the longest novella it didn’t actually felt long while reading. The pacing was okay. I loved the way they reminded us that Pete
Spoileris gay.
I really wanted to know Mombi’s storyline also and was pleasantly satisfied with it. The way Ozma was found felt a bit aprueba but not bad for being the final novella. I did liked that Ozma isn’t as innocent as she seems.

Not as pointless as Dark side of the rainbow but could very well have been added to the normal books instead of a whole new novella.
Also continuity who?? Don’t know her

Interesting and effective overall. The revelation made in this novella was implied in the first novel, but the mystery still lasts while there was more that was revealed through the novella. We also get to more about Mombi, which, since it's concerning magic, was pretty interesting. The drive of the plot did weaken once the first 'arc' was done, but it did still carry my interest.
Overall, a good three stars novella from me.

This had potential but falls short. It was interesting until the parts about Pete. I have questions and after nine prequels, I shouldn't.

This was a short novella, but it felt like it was so much longer than it was. It was very dull. Like the rest of the novellas, this one provides very little information for the series. It ends up just dragging out the series without any new character insights, world building, or character development.

This is basically okay but the copyediting errors show what a rush Paige was in to crank these out. Wish it were polished.

I almost feel like this novella wasn't really necessary if the novels had been a little more detailed.

The backstory about Pete and Mombi was interesting, but I was expecting more about Ozma herself.

Also - I can't stand Glinda.

Great story, we saw where Ozma was as a child, and yeah, things are starting to make sense, though I still have questions!
