Kinsey doing what Kinsey does best: sticking her nose in other people's business. Where "M" strayed across the fine line these stories walk between murder mystery and detective fiction into mystery, "N" stumbles back across. Much more edgy and bleak, this was a fun if more violent tale. Her truly bellicose and disobliging personality is on full display - and as her snark is one of the things I love best about her this a a good thing.

Kinsey was not at her best on this one.

Even though I never give them many stars, I like simple, short mystery novels for a break now and again. This one I was disappointed had a few "choice" words that were easy to ignore, but are there nontheless.

This book is somewhere in the middle of the Kinsey Millhone alphabet series. I found it rather dull for the first half, because very little happened in the investigation. It picked up only a little after that, but still was not the most interesting crime fiction book I've ever read.

A great detective story, funny and exci ing like all the books in this series, I love Kinsey's uncompromising take in the world. The ending wasn't quite so satisfying as the other books up to this one, I felt like it was a bit rushed and not so plausible, but a thoroughly enjoyable read nevertheless.
