Dante Sinclair is dealing with injuries delivered in a shoot out with a serial killer, but what is hurting him more is knowing that his partner died and he didn't. The Sinclair family has rallied to help Dante, including his recently married brother, Grady, who is flying Dante back from Los Angeles to the Sinclair family compound in Amesport, Maine to recover. When Dante arrives, he meets Dr. Sarah Baxter, his new doctor who quickly determines that along with his other injuries, he is suffering from survivor's guilt. Dante and Sarah discover an immediate attraction, but Dante isn't the only one dealing with issues from the past. The difference is that Sarah's may have followed her to Maine.

No Ordinary Billionaire is based on an excellent premise with lots of promising story beats, but it never lives up to its promise. Insta-lust, info dumping, and simplistic solutions take up a great deal of this book, while several sex scenes fill the remainder of the pages. If this had been a longer book, it might have been more satisfying, but overall, No Ordinary Billionaire is a very disappointing story.

Dante is sexy! He's grieving though and is really hurting. Sarah is a genius Dr who is recovering herself, from what you'll have to read the book :) I think they were perfectly matched and this book kept me on my toes! A Little bit of danger livens up the book!

I enjoyed getting to know Dante and Sarah in another wonderfully written book by J.S. Scott. Again, I would recommend any book from her and this one does not disappoint. Highly recommended!!

So I must confess, the story of a billionaire policeman intrigued me a lot and it was a very nice discovery !!
A romance exactly as I love them : an alpha but endearing hero, an endearing heroine with a heavy secret, a nice little town in Maine (I know between Maine and Colorado, I feel like it's THE places to visit if you want to meet The One xD), an interesting plot and a romance <3 <3
In short, I'm so going to read straight away the next ... Oops forgive me the previous book because I haven't read them in the right order xD
PS: I had the pleasure of meeting the author yesterday who was very kind !! She gave me two books and great dedications !!

I like this book ok. But the suspense and the romamce does not support the story nor the character development. So its bit confusing. Like water and oil that wont mix well together.

Sarah has been a child genius. She has high IQ. But she is lack experience in social life. She is a doctor btw. Dante is a cop who sustained traumatic injury from one of his duty. He decided to took off to maine to heal. Sarah is his doctor.
Sparks flew immidiately. However i feel loke dante is forcing sarah to like him instead of giving her time to readjust. I know dante is a alpha male character but his alpha male is really pushing it. Sarah is a typical damsel in distress. The character development is minimum. So when sparks fly into sexual tension, i dont really feeling it.

I dont hate it but i dont love it either.

I got the 3rd book of this series in a GoodReads giveaway, so I decided to read the whole series and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this story. I am not a overly huge fan of the whole mega rich guy heros. Usually they are complete assholes but Dante was a sweetheart. He was possessive and demanding but it wasn't over the top. I think it had a lot to do with Sarah too though. He didn't have to be an asshole because she agreed with everything he said. Don't get me wrong. I did like Sarah. She had a quiet strength and to be honest everything that Dante wanted her to do wasn't all that bad. I mean she had a killer after her and *gasp* a heroine actually listened when the big strong detective asked her to do something for her protection.

Bottom line: I enjoyed the book. I won't say it's one of my absolute favorites but I defiantly didn't hate reading it and would recommend it to pretty much anyone.
