Foi melhor que o primeiro
Se ela ficar com o Rafe, dou má avaliação ao 3o, estou já a avisar

I’m just going to keep this one simple and sweet, because it’s no surprise that based off of my review for the first book, I already completely love this trilogy. This book did not let me down, and I honestly knew it wouldn’t.

The character development has been amazing up to this point and you really get to see the main 3 (and many other side characters) grow and change. I feel like I’m growing with Lia, and all of her decisions and choices are those of my own. I’m super connected to her which is why the majority of this book just felt like an insane roller coaster of emotions and feelings, but at the same time I never wanted the ride to end!

I do wish there was more focus on Rafe throughout the book, but that’s honestly just because I love him and I can’t help but want to read more about him. There is a lot more of Kaden compared to Rafe, but it makes sense for the plot and storyline so I really can’t complain... I’m just bitter and love Rafe with all of my heart, what can I say!

The end portion is where things really picked up and I began turning pages like a mad woman. There was a lot going on, including a certain scene I didn’t see coming at all that honestly destroyed me for awhile. If you’ve read this book you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Overall, of course this was another 5 star read for me! I’m a total sucker for this trilogy!

A couple of thoughts:
1. Poor Kaden
2. I feel so conflicted
3. I love Sven
4. I need to dive into Beauty of Darkness right now

Plotwise it was way better than the first book. Sadly I still felt no connection to any character at all. The most intriguing character was the Komisar imo but I’m afraid that he will become this plain evil villain with no depth in the next book.
