This. Like the rest of the series. Was ADORABLE!! But the suffering *cries*
5 STARS
This whole series has had me giddy on the fluff between Charlie and Nick, but this volume focused more on Charlie's mental health and his eating disorder and that...really hurt but in a good bad way.
Charlie's struggle was realistic but painful, showing it wasn't a straightforward path to healing, and that it really affects the people around you too. Because it did impact Nick, and my heart went out for him because he wanted to fix everything for Charlie but the thing with mental illnesses and eating disorders is that it does't work like that.
So it hurt. I hurt for both of them, but their growth was heart-warming and real and brought happy tears to my eyes!
Can't wait for the nest volumes!!!!
