The story of several young adults waiting to hear about people they love who were in a bridge collapse. 2 siblings await news of their parents and work through trauma from the year before when they lost a friend. And the boyfriend of the gay brother which is unknown to the sister. A bit waits for nes of his ex girlfriend who you only learn is an ex towards the end of the story. A sister awaits news of her caregiving sister. And a daughter is there after her father committed suicide because of a cancer diagnosis. This is a good story where you care about the characters.

*yaaaawn* oh it's over? Okay cool.

Honestly I have no patience or sympathy for the 'teenage' scene. This book was about several special snowflake teens. Honestly none of these kids were even remotely likeable. Just a bunch of whiny teenagers who have melodramatic problems. They all meet by chance and have a very uninteresting conversation. This reminds me of "We All Looked Up," I didn't like that book either.

I enjoyed the POVs in this book. I liked getting everyone’s stories and seeing what the ending was. Granted it was short but I believe it was just the right length.

This book was kind of a waste of my time. The only story I was interested in occurred before the book even started 🙄

I love books with alternating perspectives like this!!! This one was super well written and I loved all the ways the characters connected. I loved each characters sub plots and how they used their backgrounds to stay grounded in the moment.

It took me three weeks to read this because I just couldn't get into it. I stuck it out and tried to find something to hold on to in the plot or the characters or anything... but in the end I just didn't think the book was interesting and I didn't feel anything for any of the characters.
