3-3.25⭐ - the writing was okay, I love multiple POVs but this one was just confusing at the beginning. The ending felt rushed to me.

Definitely kept me engaged, the ending pieces were not very much a shock. Very hard to follow the characters in the beginning — took me a few times to re-read things in order to figure out who was who

I am so thankful to have the opportunity to get an ARC of this book.
This book was told from the perspective of each of the moms.
This book was amazing. It talked about grieving the loss of a child, grieving over a child in a coma/ a vegetative state, and dealing with a child that’s too traumatized to speak. I liked how Lucinda dives into each mom’s emotional state & showed us how everyone handles grief and problems differently. Along with dealing with their losses, these moms’ also had their other children to care for as well as their marriage and friendship. We learn that not everything is what it seems.
The book dives into the boys’ friendships & what could have caused the night of the incident in question. While the moms try to understand and piece together this mystery, their friendship is put to the test when they question each other on which boy could have done this.
I thoroughly recommend you to get this book as soon as it’s released!!!
