This book is better than spending 4 hours on a plane staring out a window....but just barely. The writing is extremely pedestrian and uninspired. The characters are poorly developed, such that you really never connect with or relate to any of them. Worse, the author uses several words incorrectly. ('nefarious' is my favorite)

There's other, nit picky little things, like the author's lack of understanding of the difference between fuel and gas -- he uses the term interchangeably for a diesel bus. But, overall, it's a barely mediocre, "bleh" book.
