Dark, spooky, old magic that toys at the fringes with nature, gods, and ghosts. The audio version with original music is wonderfully atmospheric and strange. The reader is only ever given just enough information, a hint of the magic and myth beneath the story, a glimse through the mist.
Graphic: Ableism, Child death, Death, Domestic abuse, Physical abuse, Violence, and Abandonment
Moderate: Grief and Murder
Minor: Child abuse, Rape, Sexual assault, and Sexual violence

The book was great. Not my cup of tea, but it was great.
The art/comic sections were a great addition and made the read more fun.
