Characters were dull. Not the author's fault, but I found the main character's "I don't get what's happening with the youth these days" attitude to be annoying to read about. The mystery was drip-fed and then answered all at once. I didn't find any of it unexpected and found the twists to be more like roadblocks delaying me from getting to the end of the story.
Lewis was so unbearable from the beginning that I couldn't understand why anyone ever thought he was good?

The book was tense throughout and kept me intrigued. each chapter seem to introduce a new possible ending, only put the true ending to circle back to original suspicions but with more depth. Though this book was tense, it was more narration and dialogue driven than it was action driven.
