I love finding authors you can just trust. Books that it doesn’t matter what it’s about, they wrote it so you’re going to read it. That’s Taylor Jenkins Reid for me.

I love her story ideas and writing styles. They are always a fun way to tell a story. And usually the story alone isn’t this most amazing and new idea, but the writing is and that’s what makes it so good.

I loved the idea of alternate lives and seeing them play out side by side just like it would in a parallel universe. Although I would suggest reading the book vs the audiobook because it got pretty confusing at times that way.

A perfectly crafted story. This one had me hooked from the very beginning. Couldn’t put it down. Absolutely loved it. **Also, please note that I listened to the audiobook. It has a fantastic narrator and was very well done.

I decided to pick this book up after reading the blurb and found the dual possibility timeline intriguing. I definitely liked the change of pace from my normal books where there's only 1 way that everything plays out. I don't want to give anything away, but it was interesting to see what happened in both scenarios and how many similarities were there but also slight differences that made a big impact. I've sometimes thought about what might have happened had I made one different decision in my past, and this is the perfect book to show how it could've played out! Definitely an interesting read!

"When you sit there and wish things had happened differently, you can’t just wish away the bad stuff. You have to think about all the good stuff you might lose, too. Better just to stay in the now and focus on what you can do better in the future."

4 stars! I randomly picked this up in Barnes because I wanted to read one more stand alone book before throne of glass and it did not disappoint. Thank you again TJR

Es jau zināju, ka es mīlēšu šo grāmatu, kad to nopirku. šī grāmata bija ļoti tuva man, jo es katru brīdi domāju, kur es būšu dzīvē, ja es izdarītu kaut ko citu.

Classic, cheesy, feel-good, easy read ☺️ I definitely like the questions it makes you think about — how much of our lives is left to fate? Is there really ONE person out there for you, or could there be several and it just depends on the path your life takes? What does family and home really mean?

But I definitely like her other books better (named Evelyn Hugo)
