A fantasy story wrapped in a philosophy about divinity, happiness and death. I feel like I've read similar theme before but reading this book is surely different. I'm still amazed how Miyazawa incorporates all this into a story of a train journey to the sky. I also like the illustrations in the Indonesian version published by Penerbit Mai, they're so gorgeous i can't help but staring at the drawing everytime I turn the pages.

But a few things that are still hanging make it difficult for me to give a perfect score. Even so, this book is good and worth reading especially if you like a fantasy story ✧

Aku suka ceritanya.
