I loved the bouncing back and forth from the past lives to the current. I found it entertaining and just couldn’t put it down. I loved everything about it!

This was a good book, the first 3rd was really slow and I had a hard time getting into the story, but then it really began to pick up and sprinted to the finish. I really liked all the characters, and the premise. There were some hard scenes especially in Nora’s early life. But overall it was a solid read.

This book tells the tale of a curse that keeps one woman and one man bound to each other through different lifetimes. The woman, at some point in her new life, will remember who she’s been and reunite with her “caretaker”. Lessons are learned each time around and the hope is to break the curse. This story was so unique and well written. Each “life” had me pulled in and questioning what was going on with the “rules” of the curse and what would happen in each story.

Looking forward to picking up Sayers’s new novel.

I loved the plot of this. I think that the way it was written was great, visiting past lives and slowly piecing everything together. I feel like the only reason this wasn't 5 stars is because it took me so long to read it (not the books fault, life has been busy) which took away from my enjoyment of it overall and made the book feel slow

Cool idea, interesting story, just riddled with questionable choices and a weak execution. Could've done well with some reshuffling of plot-points and the removal of an absolutely unnecessary age-gap (I'll not hear any excuses to do with 'historical accuracy,' it simply wasn't needed). Anyway I guess the historical voyeurism was a nice touch.

Holy disturbing. I DNF'd this book so fast that I tried to give it another chance, But, I am not against the age gap in historical romance, however, this book was just not for me.
