This book is an easy fun read. Anna and Brody quickly develop a bond and fall head over boots for each other. He’s a singer on a break and she’s starting her life over after her fiancé cheated on her. They are supportive and bring out what the other needs. Brody is very protective of Anna and their relationship, really cherishing what he has found. There are a few scenes throughout the book that feel rushed and as if they are missing sentences or paragraphs. It pulls the reader out of the scene and disturbs the continuity of the story. Despite that I recommend this for the fun ranch vibes.

The characters really make Strung Along what it is, loving and funny people who go with the flow and live optimistically in their little small town. I enjoyed reading their interactions, though I felt some were rushed and could have been delved into a bit more. I’m hoping that the later books in the series will enable us to do that.

I also enjoyed the story of Strung Along. It was predictable and your classic love story, but it was also heart-warming and captured my attention enough that I woke up this morning raring to get reading again after starting it last night.

I’ll definitely be finishing the series, and I think I may go back and read Braxton and Maddox’s stories now too. (Desperate to know what kind of parents give their children these names!)

There were several continuity errors, as well as grammatical errors, typos or just areas where you could tell that parts of scenes had been moved around and then not tidied up properly which is what marked this book down for me.

YALL - another 5-star read from Hannah Cowan!! Her small-town era is here and I am loving it. 💁‍♀️

When Anna moves to Cherry Peak, she's looking for a fresh start and NOT expecting to find love. Brody Steele - rising country music star - has just returned home to rest his voice and help his family on the ranch. These two meet and it's hate at first sight. But if they dislike each other as much as they say they do - why can't they stay away from one another?

I had the privilege of alpha/beta reading this book; in my opinion, Strung Along is some of Hannah‘s best work. The town and characters of Cherry Peak are amazing. Brody and Anna had me in an absolute chokehold (but the chokehold that Anna had Brody in??? That's a whole other topic). PLUS - If you've read any of Hannah's other books, you'll definitely recognize a few characters.

Strung Along truly had everything I could ask for - superior banter, multiple 'good girl' moments, and the hero falls hard af. I am already begging Hannah for book 2. If you love cowboy romances, no third-act break-up and cute AF farm animals, you'll love Strung Along!
