A beautifully illustrated story about how polar bears are patient and need sea ice to survive. Lots of interesting information along with a sweet story.

Polar bears break my heart. Their struggle is so poignant and it is hard not to see how humanity is wrecking havoc on so many other species, and eventually, ourselves :(

Quiet and gorgeously illustrated but I think I would have liked it more without the first person voice. Lots of backmatter too!
