I enjoyed the prologue but couldn't get into the narrative voice of the main text.

A terrifying supernatural horror tale, but covered in thick layers of Swiss snow. The prologue is everything I wanted it to be, the rest suffers from overkill. Too ambitious. Too self-indulgent. Too much. Fast-forward; a couple of highs, too many lows.
