While I liked the idea of the book and did enjoy reading it, I think I was hoping for more from the story!
Curse of the Four Gods follows the Renning twins (Raine and Tom) as they get sucked into a whole new world after reading a mysterious book. I thought this plot line was so cool and I really did like the premise of the story. But I wanted to know more about the world they fell into, more about the Gods they are up against, and more information on the different lands/supernatural beings. It felt like information was missing or parts were missing. I wanted to see more of the relationship between Raine and her men. This is definitely a slow burn romance but it felt like we missed out on some interactions with her men or the dialogue between them need to be fleshed out more.
Overall this was a good read but I felt like I just wanted more from the story. Will be on the look out for the next book to see what happens with the Raine and her men and to discover more about this world they’ve fallen into.
