Loved it, but I love all of J Lynn (Jennifer's) work so far and I have listened to most of her books now.

I stayed up until 3am last night to finish this. Cam is now one of my favorite romance heroes. This is going to the top of my list of things to properly review!

I love books with romance in it. Those where the MC meet from the very first chapter, and after that a fight of will starts. I also love slow burn. When there's angst, and drama, and secrets, nonstop flirting and specially when both MC develop a great friendship on top of all.

This book was fun, swooning and heartbreaking.
The heroes have their past haunting them and seeing how they overcome that past is wonderful.

I have taken a break from fantasy for a while and forgotten how much I love JLA’s banter between her characters! Even though she writes under a different name in this genre the playful writing still comes through! It’s funny yet gripping! This was a great little romance and a quick read

I loved Avery’s character. She was funny and strong and realistic for someone who went through that type of trauma. Cam’s character seemed to good to be true and I also did not like how much he pushed her about telling him what happened. She wasn’t ready and he should’ve respected that. It was nice for him to tell her about himself but that doesn’t mean that she was ready to talk about herself yet.

I thought the plot and sequence of events were very realistic and I really enjoyed it.

Lastly, I totally understand that Molly had gone through something traumatic but JESUS CHRIST I wanted to slap the shit out of her. How fucking rude was she?? What the hell was her problem? It made me sick that she hit Avery. She didn’t deserve it and I feel like Molly was just taking out her anger on her and it wasn’t fair.

“As long as the sun’s shining, shit can’t be that bad.”

When Avery goes off to college, she has every intention of leaving her past behind, that one event that changed her life forever. Instead, her past follows her right along with her to college, miles away from home. She must face her past, though Cam, the devastatingly handsome college guy, is everywhere she goes, he's even there when the truth comes out.

I had high expectations of Wait For You and I was disappointed. Though it wasn't a disastrous read, it was the very same cliché teen ridden angst I feared. The plot didn't capture my attention all that much and moved too slow at times. Even then, the things that did happen were predictable and over-used. Avery was incredibly frustrating and I disliked her as a narrator. Frankly, I found her unintelligent, indecisive, and had serious trust issues with Cam even though he had proved again and again that his intentions were not what she thought. Cam was the only reason I read on and finished and the reason why this got 3 instead of 2 stars, despite being unrealistically perfect, he was a pretty damn awesome guy.

Perhaps those looking for a typical NA romance, this will be your thing, but if you're looking for something thought-provoking and original, I'd steer clear.

Avery and Cam meet in University, both damaged from a violent prior experience. Cam had mostly overcome his, but Avery is still very much affected and lets her bad experience sour every event or relationship she gets involved in. We get to see her grow, with several set backs that seriously put in danger her future with Cam. There were some cute scenes between Cam and Avery and their pet Raphael. I,loved her friends Jacob amd Brittany.
