Thanks to the publisher for this ARC audiobook,

This book was not for me. The narrator was good, I just didn’t really care for the story. Another review called it wickedly funny but I didn’t find that to be true. There were interesting parts, cults always fascinate me, but overall, just wasn’t really my cup of tea.

really strange and unpredictable novel. lots to digest and think over

Edit: honestly didn’t care enough about the book to digest, and didn’t connect to characters

It was a cool concept but it didnt really pull me in the way I wanted.
There is almost no backstory with Ingrid and when you finally get a little more info (literally the last chapter) it just ends. there is no resolution with her husband and it felt like Williams just added Ingrid seeing him again as an easier way to show her become "the master of Keith/wabi Sabi??"
The ending doesn't make sense, did Ingrid go back to her husband? did she become the leader of the cruise ship? did the cruise ship actually start sinking?? ending is what made this rating so low.
