So I read this before the novel as the first novel is on hold and it will take me a while to get from the library. I already have the second novel checked out. I think because it’s a comic, a lot of the backstory and cultural understanding is lost on me. I was a bit confused. The art is stunning and I’m looking forward to reading the novel to really understand the story.

Finally starting this series and there are so many adaptations to go through both in print and screen

The art is so pretty and they all look so precious that even when the story loses its grip I couldn't care less. I decided to start with the Manhwa because it would be much more easier for me to picture the world when I move on to the novels.
No one told me how big a drama queen Wei Wuxian is. I love him for that.
