Having seen this on the Goodreads short list for 2017 mystery awards, I was quite excited to read this book. It is certainly a clever novel, but it is pretty slow for the majority of the book. Happy I read it but not something I would enthusiastically recommend.

did not expect the ending at all! Love how the ending wasn’t the ending but the beginning of another ending… that shit hurted.

Šiaip detektyvus skaitau labai retai(jei atmintis neapgauna, tai 3 detektyvas per visą laiką kol skaitau), nelabai aš juos mėgstu, nes esu iš tų pastabių žmonių, kurie greitai perpranta kas ir kaip. Ir nebebūna taip įdomu skaityti.
Tačiau šioje knygoje, autorė nustebino, nors buvau įsitikinus dėl vieno žmogaus,o pasirodo aš klydau! Tokie dalykai man patinka. Ir manau tai vienas svarbiausių bruožų sprendžiant, kad detektyvas geras.
Rašymo stilistika - drįsčiau teigti, kad puiki, autorė viską labai aiškiai aprašo, ir ne kiek jausmus, o aplinką, viską kaip atrodo, buvo visai nesunku skaitant mintyse dėlioti vaizdą lyg tai būtų filmas.
