A brief yet brilliant book. Gladwell takes the reader through the Norgren bombsight and how it could change warfare (high altitude precision bombing) but was abandoned to pursue area bombing. The morality of it is discussed and is put into perspective for the technology and the politics of the time.

Malcolm Gladwell is a master storyteller and I will always read any book written by him, but this one seems slight. Perhaps it's because it was made for audio and I accessed the print edition. Still enjoyable, but his his least engaging book.

Very interesting history of the early days of bombers and the days of how bombers were used in WW2. I give 5 stars to books I would read again.

An amazing audiobook. Both fascinating and horrific, but well worth the short listen.
