Pleasantly surprised with this one - one night hookup that was excellent, then randomly meeting again months later during work. Age gap, pilot and nurse, very cute friends with benefits, "trying to play it cool" while also being super in love, and pretend boyfriends when convenient. This has a very angsty 70% conflict that drove me nuts, but overall I was glad to see the unsure MC figure out what he wanted.

The best friend can go to hell, he was the woooorst! But added to the conflict. Overall - a fun read, and the chemistry worked really well.

I liked this book although I wasn't quite sure why Teo, a trained nurse, was so ineffective in a medical emergency and needed an airline pilot to take over.

Pretty cover though.

This was an easy read and had a sweet love story. The only thing that bothered me was how Teo was always putting other people's needs before his own. I'm glad though that he finally realized he was being played and put an end to it.

Obsessed!!

This book was everything! Jack and Teo were perfection.

This book had me completely hooked from the start. They literally said nothing but the chemistry was palpable.

This book had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I was literally swooning, like how do you not fall in love with Jack? This man remembered every single word that came out of Teos mouth. The way that they just enjoyed hanging out and talking was so freaking adorable.

It was frustrating that Teo could still think he could have feelings for Chris, when Jack was perfect. Yet I completely understand, for years he idolized Chris. He allowed him to string him along with promises. To realize you wasted years of your life waiting for someone that doesnā€™t exists was devastating.

Chris made my blood boil, I hated him so much. He was absolute trash. My heart literally broke when he lied to Jack, I wanted to destroy him. I truly think he got off easy, I wish I couldā€™ve seen him suffer a bit more. You manipulated your best friend for years, like at least let me see you grovel. I at least wanted to see his reaction when Teo told him to fuck off. I guess thatā€™s just the pettiness in me, but I had not hated a character as much in a very long time.

Overall, loved it. Like seriously loved it, from beginning to end.

This is the 2nd time I read this book. And this time, I listening to the Audiobook. And I still love this story.

The only thing that annoyed me, is their cluelessness about their love for one another, and their desire to be together. I really hate this trope, especially when itā€™s used over and over throughout the book. I think itā€™s something you use sparingly, and not as the main obstacle.

Jack is incredibly caring and loving. Oh my god I want to be with someone like Jack. And Teo was so sweet. They really do fit so well together. This is a really fun book. And Iā€™m so happy I read it again.
