While this book had a slow start, when Loup takes over as the main character, i was hooked. The entire time i was rooting for her. This is one of the few books i have gone back and reread in my life.

this book is approximately about nothing it is advertised as, and is actually about the epic highs and lows of boxing. also i don’t enjoy the use of sexual violence for cheap revenge plots, or poor characterization (what is pilar’s personality…. genuinely?)
