Read this quickly over a weekend after picking it up off the shelf at our bnb. I thought I would love this book based on the back description but it ended up being completely different than I thought. I liked the creativity of how the present became the future but it didn’t satisfy me or really sadden me mostly because I didn’t care for the characters. They spoke very awkwardly and not like real people and the prose of the sentences likely contributed to that.

I thought the premise was interesting but... I don't know what it was, maybe the execution? The lack of personalities/development of the characters for a book that focused a LOT on the characters, maybe?

I kinda enjoyed the ending to be honest, I just found the
random intimacy moments between Aaron and her super odd and probably my least favourite aspect of the story. CAUSE LIKE IN REALITY, HOMEBOY WAS SAYING HE LOVED BELLA BUT HE WAS DOWN FOR DANNIE THE ENTIRE TIME? **sus**

anyways, yeah it wasn't too bad. rather quick read, I may not keep the physical copy I have on my shelves tho.

This book was heartbreaking in the best way. Even knowing what was coming, the ending was a solid punch in the gut. I stayed up until 2am to finish it because I had to see it through. Highly recommend.

It took me awhile to got into it but this book was sweet and sad and a testament to friendship. I enjoyed the end. I cried a lot.
