There wasn't much to like about this. It was almost a one star read for me. The only reason I read it in the first place is because it is a battle of the books selection, and the only reason I finished it was because it was very short.

Not nearly as good as The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, but still a solid sequel. Loved seeing more of Beth and the Herdmans.

Cute book continuing the series. Enjoyed Beth's perspective on Imogene and the antics of the Herdmans in typical fashion. A fun quick read for summer. Read aloud with the fam while dinner was cooking.

This is the follow up to “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” and catches up with the Herdman children and their somewhat criminal shenanigans. It’s a fun children’s book, comedic, but has some dated social norms and language.

Cute and funny story about looking for the best in everyone...even Imogene Herdman. C.J. Critt is a great narrator.
