This was a 4star for me.

This is a prequel novella to A Game of Malice and Greed.

I started this novella a couple of months ago, read like 10 pages and just wasn't getting grabbed so I set it aside. The "joys of being a mod reader." I came back to it and I'm so glad I gave myself the grace to put it aside vs pushing myself to read it. I was hooked quickly this time and totally invested.

I loved Kyra, the FMC. I relate to her fierce love and devotion to her sister and honestly agree with all her actions.

For a novella, this story packs a PUNCH!

I was gutted by the cliffhanger and am so hoping we get more of this character in the rest of the series!

This was so not what I expected, even though I truly did not have any expectations at all, lol. Poor Kyra. I'm super excited to see how things progress from this novella. Although now after reading this I do have expectations and can't wait to read AGOMAG.

The "twisted sisters" are masters at world creating! Short and to the point A Kingdom of Gods and Ruin gives the insight we need in this new series. Looking forward to seeing were it takes us.

I have no idea how they packed so much tension, intrigue and heartbreak into this novella but it was amazing!!

A Kingdom of Gods and Ruin is the prequel novella to the twisted sisters new book coming out in March, A Game of Malice and Greed. I am so excited for this new series, the magic system is already so interesting and world building is amazing. I won't say much bc it will ruin it, but I have a feeling this may be a new favorite.

This novella had so much action and angst and just checked all the boxes and I can't wait to read the next book!

A Kingdom of Gods and Ruin is a fab introduction novella to A Game of Malice and Greed (AGOMAG).

I never normally give a novella 5 stars, but for this being under 100 pages there was so much packed into it so this one had to get top marks.

Set 1000 years before AGOMAG
Fallen Fae
Betrayal
Morally Grey FMC
Spicy
Tension
Intrigue
Heartbreak

We are introduced to another type of magic that the fae holds, called Affinities.

I loved Kyra's character and am looking forward to reading more about her in the first full novel in the series.

I love a prequel novella that grips you like this got to me! We follow the story of Kyra and learn of the events that come to pass before book one of AGOMAG. I am officially raring and ready to go straight back to Osaria and see the events unfold.
