This was an interesting read. I really love Lindsay Boxer. She has become one of my favourite heroines. However, I wish that she would commit to Joe. I think she really has strong feelings for him. In this book, arsonists are burning wealthy couples alive after robbing them. Also, Lindsey and the Women's Murder Club are dealing with the disappearance of the son of a former governor. There was crime, mystery and some badass moments. I really liked the fast pace of the story, and I also really like the twists that unfold in the series. The ending was really great. I want to read book 8 now, and I can’t wait to see what the series has in store for me. Overall, a great read.

Another really good and entertaining entire to this series. Seven books into this series (which currently sits at 18 books!!) and I have to say, it consistently manages to keep me entertained and engaged in the characters. Already picked up books 8 and 9 this weekend, so onto the next one I go!

Going to 2.5 stars from prior ones. Read this one on audio. Didn't feel the voice fit the main character. The minor inconsistencies such as Lindsay forgetting how to cook also are bothersone. I also cringe every time she is called Blondie. Anyhow, not saying I won't read another but probably need a break from this formula. Plus 7 books in and I am not sure there has been any real character development. I know Lindsay has a dog called Martha and likes margaritas.

Just when I thought the Women's Murder Club series may have fizzled out the authors revive it with 7th Heaven. Romantic tensions boil in this thriller as the SFPD is faced with a series of murders involving housefires in multimillion dollar homes. Happy events, down-right scary moments and an ending that will leave your jaw hitting the floor make 7th Heaven a must-read in the series. I'm running to the bookstore for #8!
