A good read

Good stories with adequate creepiness. They're not quite Stephen King but could be with a little practice. Support new talent and read this.

This was a fun, quick read. Six story-tellers were chosen, and introduced here, by Stephen King. I enjoyed all six sorry stories, with my favorite being "The Unpicking."

The six stories were a waste of time. I think they used Stephen King's fan base to drum up readers and I for one was disappointed. Out of the 6 only 2 are worth any time. They are all short and to be honest amateurish.

Good collection of short stories

This was a good collection of short stories. I think it really benefitted from keeping the collection small, since a lot of short story anthologies end up being very uneven by trying to include too many stories.

I wanted a lot more from this one. I have a hard time with short stories anyway, because I always want more. However these just seemed to miss the mark for me in a few different ways. Perhaps I don't like to use my brain that much while reading. Or perhaps my scare threshold is just too high. I don't know. Regardless, it was quick and there were 2 enjoyable stories out of the six. 2.5 stars.

Quick read and entertaining. Perfect for a short flight (I finished it with an hour)

Well, it certainly is difficult to write good horror.
