HEA
Single FMC POV

Tropes:
- Hurt Fmc and Mmc needs reasurance she's okay.
- Fmc takes care of hurt animal.
- Mmc w/long hair, dark eyes.
- Mmc rubbing all over Fmc to mark her with his scent.
- Mmc constantly needs reasurance Fmc want to be with him.
- Baby in epilogue.

He was still rubbing his rough jaw against the inside of one of her wrists. "Lenna Rone mate," he murmured.

My opinion:
I know this is a novella but still it felt reaaally short, I enjoyed it but now I'm left with the feeling that nothing actually happened bc everything went so quickly I already forgot it.

I still liked the book, I mean is from Claire Kent I love her books but this one didn't feel memorable.

I must day I did love the language the tribe Kroo have I didn't struggle to understand anything so I loved it. And it was kinda cute.

Which probably describes Rone he was a grumpy but really sweet caveman with a little jealousy tendencies but who only wanted to be Lenna's home.

Detailed CW:
- Miscarriage: Not to FMC and it's not very detailed, although there is constant mention throughout the book of how common miscarriages are in the tribe.
- Pregnancy: Surprise baby to FMC at the end of book.
- Attempted sexual assault: To FMC in 1 scene, but MMC saves her, although there was a guy who kept grabbing her without her consent at the beginning.

This is a super short read that was a nice continuation of the series. I feel like it was just enough story to be satisfying. I was thrown off by the primitive dialogue. It was hard to get into the story instead of being pulled out by my discomfort with the grunting and lack of complex conversation. Totally a me thing though
