love Nick and Charlie. They’re easily one of my favorite fictional couples. So seeing them go through some difficulties broke my heart.

I really enjoyed that we got both Nick and Charlie’s POVs. And it was honestly necessary for the story to work.

Something that made me really happy was seeing how far Charlie’s come since we saw him last in Heartstopper Vol 4. He has had time to heal and cope, and is much healthier now. It really helped give me some hope.

I haven’t woken up feeling this shit in a long time, hungover and wanting to be sick and wanting to cry and that familiar emptiness I thought I’d gotten rid of a long time ago. That feeling that makes me want to say in bed and never get up again.
