The concept was interesting, however, I felt like there were too many conflicting ideas which didn't make for a concise narrative. It was very difficult to finish, but I'll give it 2 stars for it's uniqueness.

Reading this book was such a battle. It drained me out of all energy and I need a couple thousand contemporaries to re-energize.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good book, the world building is complex and unlike anything I've ever read before. But it is so damn dense that I couldn't fully enjoy it. It was just a lot.
