Loved this ending! Love this group of people. Yes there were some things that could have been different (showing her spending more time with the kids instead of focusing on the times when she didn't), but I really liked it regardless. I just wanted an epilogue with more of their HEA though.

This is the second book in the series and cannot be read as a stand-alone it’s the continuation of Thea and Gunner's story after their home is destroyed by their enemies and we rejoin with them setting out with their people to find a safe place to resettle in the mountains.
There’s plenty of danger lots of zombie actions and Thea now finds herself having to confront an individual from her past. Her and Gunner are more solid than ever and this second instalment really ups the heat between them.
It was an enjoyable well written read that easily engaged me and the conclusion was satisfying. I would still like a bit more backstory but overall it was good and I would definitely love to read more stories set in this world and if you like post-apocalyptic fiction this is sure to be a hit.
