I live this crazy color and flower naming family. I love that these characters are so different from their brothers or sisters. The other character coming in, depending on if it is a male or female depending on whether you're dating a flower, or a color.

Maggie and Bryant didn't have an easy road. It was bumpy as hell. I'm glad they were able to find smooth cruising later.

Very excite for who gets their story next.

I've loved this series since I first discovered it. It's made me a huge fan of this author.

Boy do I love this family. Ida Sue strikes again.

Bryant and Maggie are each stuck in a loop of loving each other but unable to fully commit. Neither has worked through a past that is rife with tragedy and hurt and pain and self blame and guilt.

When a plan is hatched to make both get their heads on straight and set their future on the right path ... well hilarity ensues because Ida Sue was involved. But there's a lot these two need to work out and work through.

Will they get their forever and happy ending? Well you'll have to read the book to find out ... but you'll be glad you did. Especially if you've been following the Lucas family to this point. If you haven't been following along you won't be in the least bit lost if you jump in with this book. But I do recommend reading the rest of the series for the full Ida Sue effect.

Okay I love this family it’s one of my favorite and always has been. This follows Magnolia or Maggie and Bryant. You do see some of them in the previous books but this shows the complete back story and there love life.
Now they were a married but got divorced but Bryant just wants his Maggie back. Now I reservations and I wish I didn’t because Jordan is one of favorite authors but Maggie got on my ever loving at times. But then again I can’t imagine what she through so I gave her slack but the way she treated my guy Bryant had me wanting to Ida Sue to get her under control.
Now there backstory had me in tears. I was so emotional after reading it I needed to put my book down and just breathe.
I love this book and can’t wait for the next. I hope Jordan never stops writing.

Hot Summer Nights is a second chance romance filled with a range of emotions. I will say I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love with these two MC's. I loved Bryant and Maggie May's story. There story was not an easy one, but it is one of unconditional true love. Bryant is the boy next door splashed with a hint of alpha male. He has loved Maggie for as long as he can remember. Maggie is a flight risk and carries the weight of their past on her shoulders. These two together make perfect sense and I am happy they get their HEA!
