no, just no

truly I enjoyed this book until about 35-40% in, though it had some moments of frustrations, I was enjoying it. then as it progressed I couldn't stop getting annoyed with how obsessed the friend group was with the new relationship. most of them don't even know the mmc that well and it was just icky honestly.

then I hit their first intimate scene (outside of the three-four kisses they've shared) and I just couldn't. I get that there was A LOT of pent up sexual tension, but I just don't think the spice was done well.... I was cringing the whole time. and that could be because I was getting so annoyed with other things.

I also did read some reviews that had spoilers (I read them WILLINGLY OKAY? I knew that somethings would be ruined, I was okay with that) and find out
Spoiler there's a third act break up. and I find out how it was done
. and TRULY couldn't get past it. like I couldn't even stick out being annoyed knowing that my annoyance was going to get even WORSE.

sorry if this review upsets the people that enjoyed this book (not really sorry though tbh lol), but it was a total let down.

Things to note
enemies to lovers (though I feel like the enemies part was SO forced)
third act break up
fmc is on the autism spectrum (not sure if that is the right way to say it, this is the first book I've read with a mc with autism. loved how the author had that it in the book!)
mmc has an anxiety disorder
annoying secondary characters

The plot of this book was a SOLID 4 stars, and Jamie and Bea were so cute. I enjoyed every moment of this book, and it got 5 stars purely because of the authentic, realistic feminine autism representation. It was absolutely amazing, and I totally related to Bea completely. I’ve had these exact moments in my relationship, and it made my heart so happy to see it in books. I will ABSOLUTELY be reading more Chloe Liese
