3.5!! a little confusing at times but the overall message was touching, definitely a read for people who love books :)

Cats and books, two of my favorite things! It's only natural I would gravitate towards this book! Although I don't think I was in the right mindset to listen to this one, I'm glad I did and I will still give it a 4 star instead of a 3. This book centre's a young boy who has recently lost his grandfather and a mysterious boyant talking cat that pitches up thereafter involving him in these quests to save books. I thought the specific quests were so original and wacky, yet whimsical. I loved how the book explores grief, family and friendship. This story reminded me alot of TJ Klune's stories. So if you enjoy TJ Klune I would check this one out to.

A cozy, uplifting book about self discovery and the purpose of books with a splash of romance. Definitely worth reading again in the future.

the concept and message is very true - book are very powerful. however, the repeated story for each chapter was a, to put in bluntly, boring and therefore did not get to enjoy it as much as i was hoping before reading...
