Oooh this is such a lovely book. The pictures are very sweet and beautiful. The stories thelselves were cute and very lovely. I could picture myself telling these stories to my future kids.

The illustrations are gorgeous. The story is....lacking? Bad? Nonexistent? This is definitely a situation where the publishers knew they could make money marketing a book to little girls based on nothing more than a beautiful, glittering cover and pretty pictures of fairies and woodland creatures. And it worked! It was painful to read. My daughter loved it!

The plot, lush illustrations, and page design make this a perfect beginner novel for early readers. It is fast-paced, with plenty of empty space on the page so as to not intimidate early readers. The illustrations are beautiful and really make the story.
