I was so looking forward to this book after reading the Twisted Tale on Rapunzel, but it was a major let down. There was only one thing that changed in this novel from the typical story and it really didn't change much at all. The author focused a little too much on backstory and redeeming a character that has never really been redeemable. It was a super easy read though.

The story felt like every other Snow White story. Which there’s nothing wrong with that, I was just kind of hoping for more based on other books in this series.

It also kind of felt like whenever something went wrong the fox was too easy and convenient. I would have loved to see the main characters struggle for their goals a little bit more, that would have made the pay off so much sweeter in the end I think.

I loved this book. This whole series is nothing but magical. Taking all of the Disney stories and putting a magical twist on them which gives the story a fresh feel.

This one was particularly good. Seeing how the evil queen managed Snow White attempting to go against her was so interesting.

Disney fans, no matter their age, should give these books a try. Everyone is sure to love them, just like I did

Finally...
Snow white as it should be. There is a story here that is understandable. The movie it was just just a beautiful girl, an evil queen and beautiful prince. Here, there is a story. A king and queen as well as their subjects. There is a reason why the evil queen is doing what she is doing. Snow white is not naive, and the prince has a role here.
The ending is not about a true loves kiss. It is about kindness, equality, and a kingdom that needed a fair queen. This should be the original Snow white movie as there is a plot well written and a meaning behind Snow white story. I enjoyed this twisted tale and hope it can be made into a movie one day.

Loved this retelling so much! It was a refreshing take on the classic movie. I also loved reading about the past of the Evil Queen, makes it more engaging :)

I liked this exploration of the Snow White story. Snow and Henreich were a cute couple, but they were not nearly as important to this story as the Evil Queen. I liked Calonita's writing and I hope she gets the opportunity to write more of the books in this series.

+gave snow white a personality
+evil queen was gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss
-could have gave more life and character to both the prince and anne
-anne and snow would have been lesbians and i stand by that (throuple)
