Talk about a slow burn! Didn’t like mmc like fmc tho. Overall i was more annoyed with the whole thing than anything else.

I really enjoyed these two. The wheedling and banter are so great, but their character depth is touching too. I loved V and Olivia reeking havoc and all the visitor timing and circumstances are amazing.

I enjoyed this book much more than the first, and that’s not necessarily saying it wasn’t good. This story just had characters and plot that were more to my liking. Diana and Giles both come off as extreme opposites and yet they are both much more mild tempered and caring under the facade. Their banter and “hate to love you” vibes are perfect, and I always love a little bit of mystery to drive the plot.
