Didn't enjoy it. Started reading when I was younger and loved it then. Saw them free in Audible but no longer grasps me

My favourite author of all time - Darren Shan. The man that made me fall in love with reading when I was very small (30+ years ago!) and still writes books that I adore. The Saga of Darren Shan was my first by his and I still read it to this day. Darren’s writing is incredible and he is such a lovely person and his books are amazing. I wait for his new books with great excitement every time they are released. They are scary enough to keep his horror fan interested but just enough that younger audience can fall in love with horror and books too! Love this set and love Mr Shan ❤️

I listened to this book and i really liked it. It is obviously geared towards kids and nothing unpredictable really happens but its engaging and a very nice little story. I am excited to see where the story goes especially because theres so many books in the series. Even being a kids book and being written as such, the part where he had to experience his own funeral and death almost made me tear up. Ill hopefully read or listen to the next book soon.
