Wonderful story, not sure if it's a retelling of an old fairy tale or an original one, but it had the flavor of the old to it. But I loved, loved, LOVED the illustrations. Beautiful! This one is definitely a keeper for me.

This book is visually stunning and the story is very sweet. I'd love to read a longer version of it. It reminded me of a sort of genderswapped Sleeping Beauty.
