Great prequel to “Pretty Girls”!  I almost wanted to hear about her family after she during those first days she was gone. Also wish it could’ve tied into the police officers in town who were at fault!

I appreciated the set up and getting more of an idea on who Julia was after reading Pretty Girls. She’s truly a brilliant writer!

So glad I found this Prequel because I was interested in a little insight to who Julia is after reading Pretty Girls. It was short but good! Makes me want to read Pretty Girls again lol.

I listened to the audiobook of this. It was a fun little read, I don’t think it was necessary to understand the story Pretty Girls but it was a nice addition. I’d probably give it around 3.5 stars, some of it felt kind of boring but then again it was quite short.

i really don't have much to say about this. it was much less horrific than pretty girls but it was still scary and sad to know exactly what happens to her after. it makes pretty girls seem more tragic than violent, even though it's both. really good!!
