I read this for my bookclub. This type of more literary fiction is not my cup of tea, but I did manage to finish it. 
My biggest issues was there was so many characters that it was difficult to keep everyone straight. And because there were so many I feel like we never got much beyond the surface level of who each character was. I think it would’ve worked better if there were less of them so we could spend more time and really get to know the characters. 
I also would’ve appreciated an epilogue as so much of the book was slow paced except for the end which was incredibly fast and then just kind of ended.
