It was pretty silly at times but entertaining nonetheless.
• Lack of animal knowledge. Leopards can't purr.
• On page 161-162, it states Jhi made a pandalike cry and that's probably the funniest thing I have ever read. That's like saying the dog barked a doglike bark and I love it.
The part with the seagull was ridiculous. You already know for a fact that one of the Conquerers has a seagull that had followed and attacked you before, but THIS time, this time it must certainly be a coincidence for sure. It only acts exactly like the other one for no reason.
I enjoyed the end battle. It was well-thought out and beautiful.
I imagine them deciding to let Shane go will come back for plot reasons though, which is a little disappointing because of how predictable that is. Or maybe it won't and I'll be wrong. I'm excited to find out either way!

4.5 stars. I love this series. Even though it is a middle-grade series it is so complex, serious and clever. Especially from book four and on it takes in more serious elements but still maintains the sassiness and humorous elements of the story. The character development is really good but at the same time they are very true to their original selves. Just hands down to this wonderful story.

Malgré le fait que ce ne soit pas le tome où les personnages évoluent le plus, j’ai adoré cette finale! De nombreux évènements se produisent, on a l’impression que les personnages devront toujours affronter un nouvel ennemi. J’ai même versé quelques larmes à la fin.

Great finale to a great series. Marie Lu brought a nice voice and tone to the end of this series and her amazing writing style was gorgeous as always. It was a nice way to get her writing without her plot, as I've found it very predictable in the past.
