A slower part of the story, but the payoff is incredible.

I wasn't enjoying this book that much, in the first part of it.. Too many business men and too little of the Kira we knew. But I ended up enjoying it a lot, especially with how it developed and ended! I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!!! ❤️❤️❤️💀

I sadly didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. While the main plot is still interesting enough - Light trying to catch Kira, Kira being L who is working with Light - this installment just dragged out the plot at an annoyingly slow pace and really added nothing to the plot overall.

What made this series so intriguing was the maneuvering of both L and Light. They're both extremely smart and able to push each others buttons. However, with L having given back the notebook, he has no memory of what he did as Kira and now he's just boring.

The subplot with the insurance corporation wasn't needed. It seems like it was just there to make this thing longer than it needed to be. and for the love of the gods, can we please get rid of Misa. I cannot stand her character and cringe every time she is on the page. I really hope the next installment gets back to what made this interesting. Because right now, I just want it to be over.
