I was so excited to read this book, but honestly, I was kind of let down. To start, I don't think I was fully prepared for the tropes happening in the book. I just saw it and picked it up because the title looked interesting and vaguely knew it was a workplace romance. There were some parts of the book that I deemed unnecessary, but that's just my opinion. There was a slight grump and sunshine trope to the story which was fairly interesting and I appreciated. The FMC was not very likable, but she did have valid worries. I was interested, however, in the other friends that we see in the book, which is also a part of the series so I will be reading another one of the books.
