Excellent book for kids who want to be reading the distopia books their friends are reading but need an easier level to get started. I gave my coworker a hard time about this one but I would still highly recommend it to a student.

This held up but the other books in the series did not.

Suspenseful story about f 3rd and forbidden child. First in a great and gripping 7 part series suitable for upper elementary.

This book was absolutely. HORRIBLE! I'm sorry but the whole big massive death at the end was stupid and frankly I don't believe was super necessary

I was worried reading this series for the nostalgia would ruin the way they felt to me as a kid but honestly it's still a solid YA read. The explanation of government vs radicals and propaganda was done so well.
Jen's death still broke my heart but her father's retaliation in helping Luke escape was extremely tragic to me as an adult
A great quick read
