Loved it! Great food, friends, and wine make an even greater story when shared. I have to say this book had all the feels. A Romeo and Juliet vibe that ends with a HEA!

What did I like? My first by this author and I couldn’t put it down! Leo and Tessa were amazing. Two fueding families with businesses failing come together to help the other survive with a fake marriage! Leo and Tessa have been competing against the other since high school. Sparks fly! Fabulous book!

Would I recommend or buy? I’d love a copy! This story just sucked me in! The camaraderie in the book is so engaging that you feel like your in the same room as the characters! I would definitely read more by this author! Five stars!

I received a complimentary copy from Entangled Publishing to read and voluntarily left this review!

Ah, where do I begin, this book was a such a wholesome small town romance. It was like the Romeo & Juliet movie x little Italy combined.

It had rivals to lovers
Business marriage
And “forced” proximity

It was truly adorable and I loved the character development, it was a fast paced read but nothing I would consider rushed, very much like a hallmark movie!

Although I did wish it contained a bit of spice… like that build up and tension COME ON I WAS ROOTING FOR IT

4 Very Sweet Stars

This book was such a surprise and delight. It was a cute story filled with lovable characters, a crazy idea to fix two family feuding businesses, and finally owning up to feelings between two old high school crushes.

I want to live in Blossom Glen and it's darling old Queen Anne style homes. It was super easy to fall in love with Leo and want to be friends with Tessa. I adored their little banter, how they slowly became friends again and trying to push feelings aside. Then falling in love.

It was so cute I recommended it to my Mom. She'll love it. I can't wait for the second in the series.

Chili Pepper rating: .5

The Sweetheart Deal by Miranda Liasson is just about the cutest story. I just finished it and was fully invested from beginning to end. It is about Tessa Montgomery and Leo Castorini, lifelong foes due to a family feud going back generations. Unfortunately for them, their family businesses are located right next to each other and could easily work together to improve finances for all involved, but the ancient feud keeps them at each other's throats. Tessa and Leo decide to end the ridiculousness of it all by marrying each other and then parting after six months, enough time to heal old wounds and set positive financial plans into motion. Things go awry even before their wedding, enough to make you even wonder if the plan can be set into place. I found the book to be charming, sweet, and fun, one I would highly recommend.
